Scope of Work

● Review data encoded in databases and accounting systems

● Reconcile checking account with the bank statement each month for proper

account balance and to identify any errors

● Review, analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts for accuracy

● Check all necessary journal entries to reflect correct accounting records

● Review Sales Journal and prepare Sales Tax Returns (if applicable)

● Review and reconcile Payroll records and corresponding Tax Returns

● Prepare and process monthly, quarterly and annual Tax Returns

● Prepare and check financial reports for different projects and for AIHO internal expenditures

● Facilitate SEC amendments and filing

● Facilitate BIR registration and any transactions related with taxes

● Facilitate BIR Tax Exemption application.

● Process DOLE, SSS, SEC, and other government-mandated reports and payments

● Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

● Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting

● Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

● Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, etc.) and Microsoft Excel

● Has strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy.

● Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other management team

● Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines

● Knowledgeable in Local Accounting Standards/Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP):

● Well-versed in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and tax regulations.

● Fast learner and able to work with minimal supervision and under pressure

● Mild-mannered, optimistic, and patient

● Team player, trustworthy, reliable, flexible, and has initiative

● Preferably with at least one (1) year of work experience in an accountant role.

● Willing to start immediately (January 2025)
